SSC CGL Signature Size: 10–20 KB
SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) — the official limits, and a tool already set to them. Photos and PDFs are fitted on your device; nothing is uploaded.
What SSC CGL asks for
| Upload | File size | Dimensions | Format · notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Photo | Captured live — no file to upload. SSC captures your photo with your webcam or phone while you fill in the form — there is no photo file to upload, and a picture of an old photo is rejected. | ||
| Signature | 10–20 KB | 6 × 2 cm (about) ≈ 472 × 157 px at 200 dpi (our assumption — the notice gives none) | JPGParagraph 9.6 says about 6.0 × 2.0 cm; the step-by-step Annexure IV (p. 71) says about 4.0 × 2.0 cm. Both say "about" and the same 10–20 KB, so we format to 6.0 × 2.0 cm. |

Fit your files to SSC CGL
Everything at once — for one person or several
Add each file once and download one ZIP: every upload fitted to SSC CGL's limits, with a checklist of what was measured. Filling forms for several students in a row? Add each person; they get a folder each.
Before you upload
- Candidates who choose Aadhaar-based authentication are not rejected for a photograph or signature outside the prescribed standard; everyone else can be.
- Blurred or very small signatures are rejected outright, so don't shrink a signature to make it fit — keep it clear.
