The files every exam form asks for, kept in this browser and encrypted with your passphrase — so the next form is one click. They never leave this device.

How it is kept safe
Your passphrase is turned into an encryption key with PBKDF2 (600,000 rounds of SHA-256 and a random salt). Each file, and each file's name and details, is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is written to the browser's storage, so what is stored is unreadable without the passphrase. The key is kept only in the open tab and is forgotten after 15 minutes without use, when you lock, or when you reload.
The other side of that: there is no way to recover a forgotten passphrase — only to delete everything and start again — and anyone who knows the passphrase can open the files in this browser. Don't use it on a shared or cyber-café computer; there, use “Everything at once” on an exam page, which keeps nothing.
