Small changes without the big software

Most PDF edits are small: add a missing date, tick a box, correct a wrong number, mark the clauses that matter, sign off a page with a note. Buying a full PDF suite for that is overkill, and uploading a contract to a random website to do it is a bad trade. This editor covers the everyday cases directly on the page — type text anywhere, highlight in yellow, green or pink, draw with a pen in three widths, and white out anything you want covered — and it runs entirely in your browser.

Every edit stays adjustable until you apply it. Tap an edit to select it, drag it to move it, pull its corner to resize it, change its colour or size, or delete it. Undo and redo work as you'd expect, and the page strip shows which pages you've changed.

What you see is what gets written

Text is shown at the exact size in points it will have in the PDF, in the same font and line spacing, so a note that fits on screen fits on the page. Highlights are drawn with a multiply blend, so the text underneath stays crisp instead of being tinted over. White-outs are solid white. Pen strokes keep their width in points, so they look the same at any zoom. Pages that were rotated in the file are handled correctly: what you place at the top of the page as you see it lands at the top when printed.

The edits are added as ordinary page content, so the result opens in any viewer — Acrobat, Chrome, Preview, a phone — without special support, and the rest of the document is left exactly as it was.

When another tool fits better

To hide something for good rather than cover it, use Redact PDF, which flattens the area so the underlying content is removed.
