Take just the pages you need, as one clean document
Long PDFs usually contain a lot you don't need. A 90-page policy document might hold the single form you have to sign; a merged scan might bury one invoice among dozens; a textbook chapter might be the only part worth keeping. Extracting pages lets you cherry-pick exactly those pages and save them as a brand-new PDF, so you can send someone just their section, keep only the page that matters, or build a short document out of the useful parts of a long one — without retyping or re-scanning anything.
A visual thumbnail picker makes the choosing easy: you can see each page and click the ones you want, watching them highlight as you build your selection. If you already know the page numbers, a range box lets you type them directly, including non-adjacent pages like 1-3, 8. How is extracting pages different from splitting?
Extracting gathers the specific pages you choose into one new PDF. Splitting breaks the whole document into several separate files. Reach for extract when you want just a chapter, form or invoice as a single document; reach for split when you need the whole thing carved into parts.
Can I pick pages that aren't next to each other?
Yes. Select any combination — for example pages 1, 4 and 9 — and they're all pulled into one new PDF. You can click thumbnails individually or type a mixed range.
What order will the extracted pages be in?
They keep their original order from the source document. Extraction copies the pages; it doesn't reshuffle them.
Does extracting change or upload my original file?
No. Your original is left untouched, and the whole operation runs in your browser, so nothing is sent to a server.
