The same job, many files, once
The tedious part of document work isn't one file; it's the twentieth. Thirty statements to compress under a portal's limit, a folder of scans that all need page numbers, a set of contracts to watermark and protect before sending. Doing that one file at a time in a single-file tool means repeating the same clicks over and over. Batch PDF takes the steps once and runs them on every file you give it.
The steps are the site's own engines: the compressor that shrinks photos without touching text pages, the qpdf-based Protect and Unlock that produce real encryption any viewer respects, and page-level edits such as rotation, watermarks and page numbers. Each file is processed independently, so one damaged file is reported and skipped rather than stopping the run.
Workflows you keep
Three presets cover the common cases — Portal upload, Share safely, Print pack — and your own combinations can be saved by name. Saved workflows live in your browser's storage on this device; nothing is sent anywhere, and passwords are deliberately left out so a shared computer never holds one.
Results come back as a ZIP, or, where the browser allows it, written straight into a folder you choose, with each output named after its source file and the workflow. The originals are never modified.

Everything runs in your browser. How we keep files private
Is there a limit on how many files?
No fixed limit. Everything runs on your device, so the practical limit is your computer's memory — dozens of statements or scans at a time is routine. Large scans take longer to compress, and the progress bar shows which file and step it's on.
Can I save a workflow and reuse it?
Yes. Name the steps and save; they're kept in your browser's storage on this device and appear as a chip next time. Passwords are never saved — a Protect or Unlock step asks for the password each time you run.
What does 'Save into a folder' do?
In Chrome and Edge on a computer, the browser can write the finished files straight into a folder you pick, so there's nothing to unzip. Other browsers get a ZIP instead. Either way, the files never leave your device.
Why must Unlock be first and Protect last?
Nothing can open a password-protected file until it's unlocked, and nothing can change a file after it's protected. The tool keeps that order for you and says so if a step is out of place.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Files are read, changed and packed in your browser. That's why a folder of bank statements or ID scans is safe to run through it.
