Exam Photo Checker
Check a photo against an exam's rules, then fix the background and framing.

How to use Exam Photo Checker
- 01
Pick the exam and add the photo
Choose NEET, JEE Main, CUET or IBPS (or any form) and drop in the photo you plan to upload. It is opened on your device.
- 02
Read what was found
Each rule is checked and shown with what was measured: the face, how much of the photo it fills, the background, focus, light and colour.
- 03
Fix and fit
Fix automatically whitens the background, straightens and crops the photo. Then send it to the exam's page to fit its KB and pixel limits.

About Exam Photo Checker
Check the photo you are about to upload against an exam's photo rules: one face, how much of the photo it fills, centred and upright, a white or light background, in focus, well lit and in colour. Fix what can be fixed in one tap — white background, straightened, cropped to the right framing — then fit it to the exam's KB and pixel limits. Runs on your device; the photo is never uploaded.
Most rejected photos fail a rule you can measure
Exam forms reject photos for a short list of reasons, and most of them are measurable: the face is too small in the frame, the background is a coloured wall or a room, the photo is blurred because it was enlarged from a small one, it is tilted, or it is too dark. The NEET bulletin, for instance, asks that 80% of the image be the candidate's face against a white background; JEE Main and CUET ask for a colour photo against a white background; IBPS asks for a light, preferably white background. Those rules are easy to read and hard to judge by eye on a phone screen.
This tool measures each one and shows the number next to the rule, so you can see why a photo would fail rather than guess. It reads the exam's rules from the same verified records as the exam pages, with the page of the official notice they come from.
Fixing it without retaking it
Three of the common problems can be fixed from the photo you already have. The background can be replaced with white, because a small segmentation model finds the outline of the person. The photo can be straightened, because the face detector finds the eyes. And it can be cropped so the head fills the right share of the frame at the exam's shape, which is the single most common reason a photo looks wrong. Brightness can be evened out too. What can't be fixed — a blurred face, a black-and-white photo for an exam that wants colour — is said plainly, so you know to retake it.
When the photo is right, one tap sends it to the exam's page, which fits it to the exact KB range and pixel size the form demands and checks the final file again.
On your device, from start to finish
The models that find the face and the outline come from Google's open-source MediaPipe project. They are served by this site and run inside your browser; nothing about the photo is sent anywhere. MediaPipe also contains a usage logger that would report timings to Google — AsliPDF switches it off, and the site's Content-Security-Policy would refuse it anyway. You can confirm in your browser's Network tab that the photo never leaves the page.
Questions
Everything runs in your browser. How we keep files private
What exactly does it check?
That there is one face facing the camera; how much of the photo's height the head fills (top of the hair to the chin); that the face is centred and upright; that the background is white or light and plain, as the exam asks; that the face is in focus, evenly lit and in colour where colour is required. Each check shows the value it measured next to the rule.
Will the portal accept a photo that passes?
Nobody outside the exam body can promise that. Portals run their own checks — NEET, for example, matches the live photo taken in the form against Aadhaar — and some rules aren't measured here: glasses, a cap, closed eyes. What this tool does is catch the measurable problems before you have filled in the whole form.
How does the background fix work?
A small model finds the outline of the person in the photo, and everything outside it is replaced with white, with a soft edge so hair doesn't look cut out. It works best on a photo taken against a plain wall; a busy background with objects touching the person can leave small marks to retake.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The face and outline models are downloaded to your browser once (about 4 MB) and run there. The photo stays on your device, and the page keeps working offline after the first use.
Why isn't SSC in the list?
SSC's current notices don't take a photo file: the form switches on your camera and captures it there. There is nothing to prepare in advance except good light, a plain background and no cap or glasses.

Make your photo, signature and documents fit the form's exact limits.
- Resize a photo or signature to an exact KB sizeHit 20 KB, 50 KB or any limit exactly, with optional exact pixel dimensions. Shows the verified final size.
- Assemble a job or college application into one PDFCombine resume, certificates and ID in order, then check the size and searchable-text status against the portal's limit.
- Assemble visa, loan or KYC documents in the required orderOrder the documents the way the form expects, merge them, and compress to fit the cap in one step.
