PDF to Excel
Turn PDF tables into an Excel workbook.
How to use PDF to Excel
- 01
Drop in your PDF
Add a PDF with tables — a bank statement, an invoice, a price list or a report. It is read inside your browser.
- 02
Choose what to export
Export the tables it finds — one sheet per table, or all on one sheet — or every line of text when the columns aren't clear.
- 03
Download the .xlsx
Open it in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Amounts are already numbers, so totals and sorting just work.

About PDF to Excel
Convert the tables in a PDF into an Excel (.xlsx) workbook. Rows and columns are found from how the text lines up, amounts become real numbers you can add up, and IDs and account numbers stay exactly as written. Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
From locked-in tables to working spreadsheets
Statements, invoices, price lists and reports arrive as PDFs, but the work happens in a spreadsheet: reconciling transactions, totalling expenses, comparing quotes. Copying a PDF table by hand is slow and error-prone, and pasting it usually drops everything into one column. This converter finds the tables for you — from where the text sits on the page, so it works even when the table has no grid lines — and writes each one into a proper Excel workbook with rows and columns intact.
The step most converters skip is making the numbers usable. Here, amounts are converted into real Excel numbers with sensible formatting, including Indian digit grouping, currency symbols, bracketed negatives and percentages. Identifiers that merely look like numbers stay as text, so a PIN code keeps its leading zero and a 16-digit card or account number isn't rounded.
Choosing how the workbook is laid out
By default every table gets its own sheet, named after the page it came from, which keeps a multi-page statement easy to navigate. If you would rather have everything in one place — to filter or pivot across pages — choose All on one sheet and the tables are stacked with a label above each. When a document's columns are too irregular to be detected as a table, All text puts every line on its own row and splits it into columns wherever the PDF leaves a wide gap, which is often exactly what a statement needs.
Column widths are set to fit the contents, and a preview shows the first rows of each sheet before you download, so you can see straight away whether the result is right or whether the other layout would suit the document better.
Private by design
Financial documents are exactly the kind you shouldn't upload to an unknown server. This converter runs entirely in your browser: the PDF is read, the tables are found and the .xlsx is written on your own device. There is no signup, no daily limit and no watermark. If you only need plain CSV files instead of a workbook, PDF to CSV exports each table as a separate CSV.
Questions
Everything runs in your browser. How we keep files private
Will the numbers work in Excel formulas?
Yes. Amounts such as 1,234.50, 12,34,567.00 (Indian grouping), ₹ 500, (250.00) and 12.5% are stored as real numbers with matching formatting, so SUM, sorting and charts work straight away. Anything that only looks numeric — PIN codes with leading zeros, account and phone numbers, long IDs — is kept as text so Excel doesn't round it or strip the zeros.
Can I convert a bank statement PDF to Excel?
Yes — that is one of the most common uses. If the statement is password-protected, remove the password with Unlock PDF first (you'll need the password the bank gave you). If the transaction table isn't picked up as a table, choose All text: every line becomes a row, split into columns where the statement leaves a gap.
What if my PDF is a scan?
A scan has no text to put in cells until it has been recognised. Run it through OCR PDF first, then convert it here.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Tables are found and the workbook is built inside your browser, so statements, invoices and payroll files never leave your device.
