Matching page sizes to printers and portals
One of the most common frustrations with PDFs is page size mismatches. A document created in the US uses Letter size (8.5 × 11 inches), but your printer in Europe is loaded with A4 (210 × 297 mm). A scanned A3 drawing needs to fit on A4 for filing. A portal rejects an upload because the page dimensions do not match its template. Resizing fixes all of these in one step.
This tool changes the page dimensions of every page in your PDF to the size you specify. Content is scaled proportionally to fit within the new boundaries, centred on the page, with no stretching or distortion. How the resizing works
The tool reads each page's original dimensions, calculates the scale factor needed to fit the content within the target size while maintaining the aspect ratio, and applies that scaling. If the source and target have different aspect ratios — for example, Letter to A4, which is slightly narrower and taller — the content is scaled to fit within the smaller dimension and centred, leaving even margins on the overflow axis.
This approach preserves the visual integrity of the document: text remains sharp, images are not re-compressed, and vector graphics scale cleanly. The file size stays similar because the content is transformed, not re-rendered.

Will the content be stretched or distorted?
No. Content is scaled proportionally to fit within the new page dimensions. If the aspect ratios differ, the content is centred with margins on the sides or top/bottom rather than stretched to fill.
