What your visitors get
The same tool as on the exam pages: it opens already set to the exam's official limits (read from the exam body's own notice, with the date shown), fits the file on the visitor's device, and checks the result against the limits before offering the download. For PDFs it compresses under the cap, or pads up to a minimum. Choose "any size" to let visitors type their own limits.
What it does not do
Your page cannot see the files: the widget is a separate origin in a frame, and processing happens in the visitor's browser. We send your page one thing, its own height, so the optional embed.js can size the frame. There are no cookies, no accounts and no API key. The widget is not offered to search engines (noindex); the link under it is how a visitor finds the full exam page.

The snippet includes a plain text link to the exam page under the frame. It is the only price of the widget, and it helps a student find the full page. The numbers update when the exam publishes new rules; your embed always shows the current ones, so you never have to edit it.
